There are times when I think we are already starring in a pantomine.   I look forward to seeing the input it should be good.

Cinderella and the Magic Forum.

Act 1 Scene I - Hardup Hall.

A scantily clad Adnams Girl is swabbing the floor .

CINDERS: Oh alas and alack. Am I to spend all my days cleaning up after other people and collecting old photos? [SOBS]
Oh, but I must finish these endless chores or my heartless stepmother with punish me further.

Enter Dame Nellie Bowthruster (Dibbler), trailed by Cinders’ ugly stepsisters,  Obesica (Fat Gary) and Dyslexica (Brain).

Dame N:   Come on girls, come on girls, Hurry along now. Oooooer. What a dreadful mess. Haven’t seen such a mess since your father rescued me from that Nunnery in Newark! Cinders! Cinders! What have you been doing?

CINDERS: Oh pardon Step-mama – but its really not my fault. It’s all that dreadful Buttons. He keeps coming into the kitchen while I’m working and TALKING to me.
-     and you know what he’s like. He never stops!

DAME N – Buttons you say?. I’ll give him Buttons.
BUTTONS! Get in here at once.

Enter Buttons (James Knight) with comedy roll and pratfall.

DAME N  - Buttons! What do you mean by preventing this little scrubber from scrubbing?

BUTTONS – Er Me? Nothing  your, er Dameship. I was just explaining how Morrison’s had a special offer on  buckets of soapy water (buy one, scrub up free), and how if Cinders could just plan her week to do all the scrubbing on every alternate day and the dusting on every second weekend, domestic efficiency could be raised by approximately…..

Dame N – Oh SHUTTUP will you. As a result of your gabbing on, Cinders hasn’t cleaned the Hall and the Baron will be back at any moment. He’s been out erecting another enormous shed you know.

Enter baron Hardup (Len Funnell)

To be contnued…..

I think I'I've just spotted a Doncaster white rabbit running across the lobby peering at a brass ship's barometer muttering 'when's opening time??? Oh my trowel and grouting!'
