Just some advice if poss please. It looks like our next outing might be on San Fernando from Stalham. I"m sure some of the members could give me sound advice as I"ve not hired from Richardsons before.I have read comments about Richardsons but not on this particular boat. Thanks all

hi all,

I must have hired over 30 boats from richardsons in the last 15 years and have never had a breakdown the only problem we have ever had was a burst hot water tank on broadland mercury the 1st season they had it from planet craft.

Enjoy your holiday broadslover

Dave.

Thanks for the compliment Steve, I hold my hands up, I am 'young' Dan, I must be - I got ID'd in Asda yesterday!!

I have hired San Fernando in 2000 and the boat was fine.  Some laminates have been replaced like most boats in the fleet and there is dralon seating etc etc like the rest of the fleet, and a really nice layout, though the stern double is half under a deck, but still not awkward.   Since then she has had a full external re-paint and looks even smarter.   The only proble we found was with just the two of us onboard pushing the sliding canopy back up was difficult and heavy and really needed the both of you, therefore making steering the boat a bit difficult!!!

Its no secret I like this hirefleet, I've never been disappointed with any of their craft which I cannot say for all operators I've used.  The site is large but a nice starting point and there's a fairly primitive but good cafe on site if you arrive early.

Enjoy your trip, reeber to tell us all about it on your return, and posting a company/holiday report in the business section is also a really useful idea

All the best

Dan

Like dan i too have been on San Fernando numbers 1 and 2 once in 1997 and once in 2001 i have had no quarms with theses boats but have had problems in the past with there Star Gem Alpha 32 class boats but nothing that would put me off ever hiring from them again though
