I am working at the EEN today and just saw the Evening News that will be out later today. The have mentioned the Meeting but have mentioned as "being a meeting to discuss boating issues" I will try and get it corrected before the weekend. ! They picked it up from somewhere other than myself this time.!!

I had hoped this posting to ask you to add our 2 names to the list, but sadly it is not, as you might have read in my thread on the Hire Boat section I've failed so far to hire a 2 berth motor cruiser from tomorrow Friday. Seems 2 berths of the modest size are extremely popular. Have had offers of larger boats but of course for 2 means out of price range, also my wish to go beyond Potter Heigham might well be out too. Still hopefull the holiday will happen but looks like a start during next week. Regards David

Hi all Just a quick update, i'm still coming but by car now as the boat has broken (fuel leak, and can't get anybody to look at it until after the weekend). On the positive side this means that there will be a car available for the Tesco runs if we run out of anything, or if anything has been forgotten. It also means that i wll have to stay sober so i can act as a stand in ferry pilot if the need arises (yes i know that there is probably loads of offers in that area). Oh well, maybe next year i'll make it by boat... Chris J
