Will be interesting to see what goes up instead. Make our pictures of the building more interesting.... A Part of history now.

Did it fall or was it pushed?

Sad, but not surprised. One of those landmarks we always looked out for.

Anyone got any 'before' pictures?

Hummm Paul I still reckon you should not have removed those props first (see earlier thread) and the rethatching didn't last long Playful

I know you knew what you were doing, dear, but you still hit the other boat! Bill...

I remember a few years back being shocked to see Herbert Woods' tower at Potter, apparently in the process of being demolished; only to be gladdened a few months later by the sight of it reborn, phoenix like.  I suppose a repeat is unlikely here.

The land must be worth a fortune...once the sinking problem is addressed, surely something will be built there even if it's not a copy of the original?

Precisely so, I didn't see it advertised anywhere locally, but I imagine even with the derelict building, it must have been in excess of 2 or £300,000...

Similar sized properties in good condition at that location are in excess of £500,000 at the moment.   Scared

(which is very expensive for Norfolk, even though it would only buy a converted bedsit in London !)
