Just seen graphic pictures on the local news of a favorite local pub, the White Horse at Neatishead, with a gritting lorry embedded in the snug bar. Given the demise of the Barton Angler, it will leave this area a bit short on watering holes whilst its being repaired.

Apparently the bar is open, although they do ask you not to slam the door! Any truth in the rumour they are going to rename it the Plough?

I think that Matt Nudd guy is the son of the owners.. Sounds like they've only been there a few weeks. Actually.. Looks like I've covered what was said in a previous post!

Oh what a shame, we came across that lovely pub last May and enjoyed a few drinks in there,was hoping to go back this year too, fingers crossed it will all be ready to open again when we go.

One of my favourite pubs was that, I used to love mooring at the staithe, have a lovely shower, then betty and me would stroll up there for our evening meal and a few ales.........sure do hope it dont change too much. John & Betty
