At least this cost can reimbursed against drinks rather than just food as is the policy of other places...Fair call in my opinion as money spent is money spent

The new tennants took over the lease on Monday and it should be opening tomorrow night (Friday). Hoping to get in there for a meal on their opening night.

Well, we did indeed eat at the Ferry on Friday. According to the young lady who served us, the mooring fee is redeemable aginst your bill. As for the food; Jean had ham eggs and chips, thoroughly enjoyed it and sent an empty plate back to the kitchen. I had fish and chips and I have never, ever seen a piece of fish so big! It was too big really and in spite of my very healthy appetite, I couldn't finish it and almost half went back. On another note, I'm not a fan of skin-on chips, but there you go. The bill, including Jean's orange juice and my large Malbec (£8.95)! was a little over £37.
