Is the title of the thread correct? As I understand, Wayford Boat Sales are Vintage Boat Sales and nothing to do with Wayford Marine Services!

That's all well and good boating tone  it if you are first time buyers then you can hardly be at fault for trusting someone with a lot of knowledge .
Steve maybe the mods should get active on other threads when it comes to defending a member , as I said previously I'm sure Jon will make a statement at some point but to censor people's real life experiences is totally wrong .

The fact is Steve yiu asked people not to post things that were negative and that is not moderation , and no I'm not entirely happy about the way some ate performing , mods need to read all threads not just some .
I should have to contact Richard to be honest that why their is a team of mods isn't it .

The mods are here to moderate the forum not to act as personal bodyguards for someone who insists on going to war with the rest of the world, one consequence of putting yourself on a pedestal is others will try and knock you off.

Brian if you have an issue with me take it up by pm not here , my post was referring to the post by a mod at 1.10 pm today in which he announced that people should not jump on this thread to discredit someone for no reason , that bit I agree with bit it also could curtail anyone who has had a real life experience be I good or bad from posting , that's what I mean , quite why you made it personal is not particularly appreciated but by the same token I'm not surprised in the slightest that you didn't give up an opportunity to have a dig at a member , maybe you are not wearing you mod hat but that doesn't mean that you have a right to control free speech .
As I said if you have an issue then pm me , this thread is not the place .

I am confused

So if I buy a boat and its a pup, I can't say that here if the owner who sold is a member

But if I boat and its a good buy, I can say that here if the owner who sold it is a member

Perhaps someone could clarify this for me before I upset anyone

Does it not concern anyone that Wayford Boat Sales" appears to be a toptally different company?? Surel discussion like this to anyone who does not know finer details might question the viability of the Vintage Boat Sales??

VetChugger, it actually concerns me that this is being discussed at all. A rumour, no matter how many unconfirmed sources it is heard from, is still a rumour. Until it is confirmed by either of the principal parties, this is damaging, not only to Wayford Marine Services (Jon), but also to Wayford Boat Sales, with whom WMS appears to have been confused.
