Although I was not watching the TV much this evening (I was glossing skirting - Deep joy) I did hear that next Wednesday the 7th Dec, ITV1 at 2030 the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads are featured.

Hi Griff, thanks for the info, but I looked at the electronic programme guide for that time, and there is some unknown football match on, Basel Vs Manchester United or something like that.

Do Anglia ITV have a different schedule?

best regards, Richard.
I'm glad we moved the boat from the canals to the Broads, No locks.

Not for that timeslot, it's showing the same.

A shame though, a prog about the Broads sounds a lot more interesting than 22 blokes feigning injuries for 90 minutes...  Wink

If this is the programme that was on a couple of weeks ago, or so, it is very good but does rather major on the upper Wensum.

Just checked it appears new, so that is two programmes on this area in one series.

Captain Howe.
The Broads are:-
Not a Theme Park.
The Broads need the winter to recover, the numbers are becoming too great and the grey water too damaging.

Good evening each,

Yesterday evening, Wednesday, 1930, BBC Four, there was a programme called "Churches: How to Read Them".  You may all be aware of it and have already seen it, since it was a repeat, but yesterday's episode did a five minute feature on Ranworth Church, finishing with a view from the top of the church tower.  If you haven't seen it and are interested, here is a link, it will be online for another six days.

Don't know if any of you guys are fans of 'Come Dine with me' on Channel 4 but this week it has been in Norwich. See the last Norwich episode to-night, one lady runs a mobile 'chippy', good to hear someone 'tork proper'. She 'dun't loik that forrin muck' that some of the contestants have been dishing up! Such a shame that our local parlance is being so diluted. Got to blame all you incomers!!! Playful Wink

Jenny Morgan,
A vane, a boat, but not a bird.

The Broads is NOT a National Park, but it is a National Treasure!
