Hi CraigTwo. The Island is the one at St Olaves. To understand the pirates, work your way though the triangle island thread (though I do understand... re-reading it myself needs some imagination.... but I think that's a Good Thing) It's late here too. Smile.

Well Jake, she's not a pirate ship but even more exciting she was a spy ship in the second world war with very special experimental high speed diesel engines that slipped across the north sea to land agents in Holland and to collect ballbearings from Sweden to put in aero engines. Sadly people were injured and killed whilst on board so if you believe in such things there is every reason to think that there is a ghost. We have a pub in Loddon and the little girl who lives there, a bit younger than you, regularly sees an old man in her room and things get moved round in the bar and lights switched on so who knows? Well you said, "Aim for the green post!" Bill...

Hi Jake, I think this is the fist time we've spoken, so it's nice to meet you I've been away from the forum a little while because I was moving home. I'll have a read through the other messages and catch up on what's been happening! All the best, Craig(2)

Nothing nasty but things get rung up on the till when noone is there and things like that. Where I used to live they had the same sort of thing and the landlord used to leave a small glass of whiskey out on the bar. In the morning the glass would often have moved or be empty. Mind you if it was very quiet you could hear the little mices behind the skirting boards going " hic, hic, hicup". Well you said, "Aim for the green post!" Bill...
