I tried to hire Polaris from WRC for June next year, I booked on line but then got a call to say they were moving the boats to NBD at Wroxham for next season. As I wanted to explore the southern broads I had to cancel.
I’m not sure what is behind this move, lack of demand down south? Or not economical to run a small fleet?
Not really surprised that they are moving. WRC is not the easiest of places to get to along those country lanes and the height of most of the boats means waiting around for either the tide or Somerleyton bridge which can be temperamental at the best of times.
I see you have gone for Captain. We have just come back from 4 nights on Captain 6, bow and stern thrusters help no end but came home after 3 because the weather was so awful. We are in our mid 70s and found the sleeping arrangements a challenge, getting in and out of the bed. You cannot sit up in the bed at all. Hope there is just the two of you.
Apart from those concerns the boat is the best boat we have ever hired and absolutely spotless, could not fault it. So easy to manoeuvre. You will love it.
Women dont nag they just point things out...
