Good yard
           Bridge Craft
           Moon Fleet
           Sliverline Marine
           Aston Boats
           Royalls
           Summer Craft
           Moores
           Go Boating
           Alexander Cruisers
           Fair Craft Loynes
           Alpha Craft
           Fineway Cruisers

These are all good yards witha more newer fleet but Sandersons and Richardsons and Horizon Craft always look great and are good prices and members on here have said good stuff about these yards.

Can't think of any bad yards now really herbet woods can sometimes be bit iffy but there's a few members on here who have said great things about them.

I would like to add Swancraft to James' list, great yard, well presented boats, wouldn't hesitate to hire from again.

Sorry forgot them. There's also the challenger hirefleet.

All the websites for broads boatyards apart from challenger can't find them and bridge craft don't have a website

I agree with your list James in all but a couple of names. I don't rate Alpha Craft that much - I've hired from them & the boat was only OK. Sandersons are one to avoid in my book. I was at their yard on Good Friday & some of their boats look like they've had no improvements made in the last 20 years.

Here is link to Challenger

http://www.challengershare.com/hire/availability.htm

Use availability drop down menu and search for 'Thunder', 'Silent Shadow' or Flying Cloud' which are the current Challenger broads hire boats. If you return a "no availability" pick a date later in the year.

Regards

John

Just going off what the thread about sandersons seemed like they were a decent yard considering age of the boats and.

I can only ever remember seeing the new spit fire and vulcans which were brand new at the time and and looked great.

I'll second Stuart's comment re Swancraft, hired from them recently and going back again soon. Top notch yard.

Going back to the top of the thread, are Fineway still in business?  Confused

From my experience, my favourite is Barnes Brinkcraft but it all depends on what you are after. Had good service from Moores as well and if you are on a tight budget, Richardsons at Stalham offer great value for money.

Hi Howard

Yes they are, but as far as cruisers go they just have the one now - Fine Sorello.
