It looks like Sanderson Marine no longer use Hoseasons to book their boats? Looking at the Hoseasons web site, there are no Sanderson boats for hire. I guess they must be booking direct, as I still see they have 8 boats listed for hire on their own web site.

Dave I saw a post on F/B from Sanderson Marine. They had been told by the hire company that their fleet no longer meet the standards required. So they are now independent. Colin

Sadly I suspect that such "agencies" as now exist are predominately the mouthpiece of a a few major players who having invested heavily in new builds don't want to see competition from older designs even if in scale and design they were better suited to the Broadland waterways. Perhaps I am the only one but I find it difficult to forgive the treachery by which Blakes members sold out for 20 pieces of silver

"mouthpiece of a a few major players who having invested heavily in new builds " Absolutely agree so you are not the only one. The out and out arrogance of some of these "major players" is something to behold!

Photo’s are often deceiving and show things in a better light than they often are but looking the photo’s of the boats for sale you can see they are well worn. If Sanderson’s have kept any on to hire out I hope they are better presented, the ones for sale are no advert.

The Sanderson boats have been on TopSail for quite a long time now, since around the time they stopped being on Hoseasons. There were more of them listed so perhaps some have already been sold?

Hired from them in the past, proper boats, great yard. Sign of the times I am afraid. The big boys are killing the Broads.
