hi I am moving to north Norfolk and bringing my boat with me. I have a Shetland 570 boat that at the moment I use on the tidal thames out to sea reach. I want to put my boat on the broads but I am struggling to find information about where to keep it and how much moring fees are for an 18ft boat. does anyone have a list of mariners or can suggest a cheap mariner any where on the broads

I used to moor at Anglia boat yard in Great Yarmouth its on the tidal river Bure it has hard standings and a slipway it is central to the broads and has easy access to the sea, if interested you can call the owner John Shearing for prices or pop over he is there most days, (07554635886)

Hi and welcome Most boatyards can be found on this website. Costs will vary enormously dependent on facilities . A rough guide would be between 500 and 1000 annually. Bear in mind many places have a minimum length charge . This can range From 18 through to 23 feet. Have fun Graham

Hi, Welcome to the forum and North Norfolk a great place to live, we've lived here nearly 30 years now and it beats West London in every way! As for moorings, you could give Paul a ring at the old Swancraft yard in Brundall, we moor there and are very happy with it. I'm pretty sure he has a few spaces left for smaller boats. Call him on 07909180427, we live in Stalham and it's about 30 minutes to the boat, so not to far. John.
Kind regards, John(Captain Joshie), Jo & Toby. 'Braveheart' L68 Broom 30/Skipper

Hi there and wellcome. I would suggest that Graham's estimate is not far out at all. I would recommend Porter and Haylett in Wroxham, (as long as you have no issues with the main bridge). Give Cheryl Standley a call on 07770 445284. Aminieties are good, showers toilet block, water, pumpout and portable toilet disposal on site with plenty of secure parking. Cheers Paul
