does anyone have any comments on this company anyone hired from them would like to hear anything about them. they seem to be a much more personal type of yard a bit like castle craft was in 96 i visited brundall just to put a deposit on silver scirocco for next year, and was met by colin dye i think his name is. any info or pics of this boat would be appreciated ian

I've never hired from them but a friend of mine has and couldn't praise them enough. She has said that she wouldn't go woth anyone else now. Re photos, have you looked at their website? Lots of still photos in the boating holiday section and if you go into the virtual tours bit in the gallery section there are several 360 degree views of different parts of the boat.

G'Day Inky We have booked Silver Solano for July next year, sister to Sirocco. There have been a number of threads on the forum saying how good Silverline are. I also think they won Hoseasons boatyard of the year 2009 As Charlie suggested have a look at the Silverline Marine website. Also use the hire boat info at the bottom of the page, you will see 2 very good write up's for this class of boat. I think you will find we will both be very happy with our selection next year

We are currently on Silver Eclipse. Boat is superb and the yard was really helpful and friendly. I've never been greeted by name on arrival at a boatyard before! I've seen quite a few of thier boats out on the river during the week and they all look very well turned out. I certainly wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company and will definitely consider using them again.

Silverline have shown an awful lot of thought into their operation and it really does work. Boats are presented spotless inside and out. the livery is understated, it does not shout "I'm a great boat at you" and the inventory is extensive and of very good quality. The attention to detail is incredible,an example being the way the fender lines have been spliced and knotted. it just looks so neat. Another is you are given an air cabin crew style demonstration on how to wear your lifejacket. Amusing but practical at the same time. We have booked 'Silver Symphony' for next June. We wanted mid July but all the two berth craft (except the aft cockpit Minuet's which are a bit low on storage for a fortnight) are already booked, which speaks volumes about the yard. To sum up Silverline, they are professional, genuinely friendly and exceptional value. Regards Fred
