Hi there, I thought we'd better introduce our selves. We're a small family operation who've taken over a boatyard in Thorpe St Andrew. We will be up and running in the summer, hiring out cruisers and picnic boats. We will also be offer a few services like painting and varnishing, boat valeting, and use of our slip way. We look forward to seeing some of you over the summer, thanks, Ric

Hi Ric and welcome. It's good to see new businesses being set up especially on the southern side. I hope you are successful and we may well see you during the coming summer - where abouts in Thorpe are you?
regards, Yorkie

Hi Ric, As I've also mentioned on your other thread, it's good to see another start up operation. Don't forget to register with the Broads Authority and it's certainly beneficial to join the Broads Hire Boat Federation (via the British Marine Federation) to ensure the best support for you and your customers. Hi Ric Best of luck for your new venture. Are you based where Highcraft previously were? Will you be having a few holiday cruisers, or just the one currently on your site? Best Wishes Dan

Hi Darren, thanks for the advice. I've got things in motion with the Broads Authority so no problems there. I've been meaning to get in contact with the BMF, sounds like today is as good a time as any! Best wishes for the seasons and thanks for the welcome. Hi Dan, yes, we've at the former Highcraft base. We've got a couple more cruisers on the way for this year, and I'm working to get a few smaller boats as opportunities present them selves. I'll be sure to keep you all posted. Thanks again, Ric

"C'est La Vie" is a cracking looking boat. Being an Ernest Collins with the grp hull and mahogany top, its my ideal and finding something like this for sale would be the most likely to divert me from my obsession with "Mr Toad". Great to see a boat like this on hire. Trevor www.normanboats.co.uk
