Well ladies and gents you are all going to think that the saga of the Maltsters carvery is over and you would be right! For the 73 people that enjoyed the pork/turkey and beef carvery today,

But wait the saga continues no hitches, wrong! yes there was, too much load on the electrics and we kept having a power cut just another problem to sort out before we try again!.

But the last word is down to those 73 that enjoyed what was and will be a great carvery and there were no complaints!??????????

Thanks to all for bearing with us today I will let you know when the second run will be.

Thanks Tony

I was moored at Ranworth on a couple of evenings last week, and ventured over to the Malsters on both nights.

Can I just say what a delight the food was, especially the side order of Chilli Mushrooms Smile

For those of you visiting the Malsters, the Chilli Mushrooms are a must..

Ta.

Thanks for your comments, they are Tonys' secret recipe - although I think he has told quite a few people how to make them now!

Hope to see you again soon

Andy,

let me give you a little tip...

...if you have a favourite on the Maltsters menu, dont tell a soul, keep it to yourself, or it will become so popular you may not get any on your next visit cos somebody got there before you!

I did this with my favourite dish and guess what? visited on the May Day Monday evening, and there was still some left!

:eg:

Karen

[edit for typo - its getting late)

"Wind up the elastic band Karen - we're setting off!!"
