Andrew this was important research,
carried out on the sites behalf by
Richard and myself (HIC).

The things we do on the members behalf, and do we moan about it,i mean sitting in front of a nice fire testing the Beer what an awful job.

Visited the pub on Wednesday (26th) and food was excellent. Moored up right outside the pub, free of charge, on a not very busy day. Let us take the menu back to to the boat to mull things over. Lovely roaring fire on a very cold day and a nice friendly atmosphere.

I think this topic alone demonstrates the benefits of the Forum. For years we'd been avoiding this place like the plague - and would have continued to do so had it not been for the many recent positive comments from other members (its not the pub's staff posting on here is it?). We'll certainly give it a try this year now. Thanks All.

mate,
Richard and me own a pub,
blimey,
that would make the Titanic look like it had a happy ending.

Phil and his better half are doing their best to make it work.

Roy if your like me you just think you have bought a pub
Add up how many years you have been drinking
how much you spend on Stella a week
Times 52
times the number of years you have *drunk

could have bought the freehold on a nice little boozer that
