Stopped there last September and got a very warm welcome and some good beer too. Good solid moorings as well. River current isn't too vicious here, at least we've not found it to be too uppity. I'm sure it has it's moments though...lol!

The sugar factory isn't the most attractive feature on the system but we moored so we were looking the other way. Another plus point was that the wind was in the right direction for us to avoid the rather pungent aroma from the works at that time of year.

The view the other way is terrific IMHO. The wild beauty of the Yare is unmissable for us.

Just wish we could 'go south' more often...
