Got involved in some banter with a hen party on the tables outside. I was cordially invited to spend the weekend on their boat with them. Apparently they would find me some bedspace!
Given that 1. they were all at least twenty years younger than me. 2. the wife would not be chuffed, and 3. I was frankly scared.... I wimped out.

Harlequin, if I didn't know better, I would think you had written something of a review of the pub  Smile

This a month or so back, so hopefully a bit tidier now, but a large section of turf had been taken off and was piled up at the road end. I believe that was still there very recently.

God dammit Paladine...you are right. And I never meant to either. I hope this is not an indication that I will end up in the same dementia home as my ancient parents!
I will try not to make the same mistake again.

TT. Fortunately for Harlequin he understands when people are taking the pee. I (being Exy) would have probably jumped in feet first and made a complete fool of myself  Smile

Well Well, during our visit to Potter Heigham in Sept we decided to take advantage of the hospitality of the "Norada 2018".
Well talk about being wrongly located. It is obviously aimed at the stag Party audience but can't see many of those for the rest of the year and should be in Blackpool. Certainly won't visit it again. Will visit the Ferry Boat in Horning which appears just slightly more upmarket. At least you can see what you are drinking. I expect it would be lager anyway in the "Norada 2018"

best wishes
PD
