The Ferry sold at auction for £1.21m  Cant remember the couples name that bought it but they own Grebe Island in Horning

This became common knowledge in the pub on the day of auction. (It was a public auction after all)

So far nothing about its future has been released to locals

Its not the destination its the journey that matters

What is TFI like now to drink at and for a bite to eat? I always gave it a steer a few years ago as it didn't seem in keeping with pubs I like on the broads, from it's garish frontage and the behaviour of some of the clientelle on the boats moored outside. I know it has changed hands recently but going through Horning, both in October 2017 & just last week, I was amazed that the moorings were almost empty on both occasions, which I took to be a bad sign. Is it worth a visit?

Was in there last night and although the moorings weren't heaving, it was busy inside. You won't find fine cuisine here, just good honest pub grub. Smile

Went in here last Sunday for the carvery, veg was over cooked and the meat very tough and dry. Sadly I won’t be going back anytime soon.

In a nutshell
The Moore the merrier.
