Close but no cigar!!!

Just because The BA make a request, don't automatically assume they have the powers to make such requests!! Keeping a careful eye on an Authority which is making it's own rules.

Thanks for the warm welcome.     Here to answer any questions or in this case defend ourselves.  Would particularly like to hear from the members who think we are charging for moorings. Stealing boats from bills yard and especially from the chap who says were horrible   Waiting for your replies.

Hi BerneyA welcome to the forum. Perhaps you could clear up whether there is a charge to moor outside the pub? and if so, whether this is refundable against purchases in the café? I guess also whether you are the group running the café, or attempting to purchase the pub?

Welcome to the forum, BerneyA. No-one has said you are horrible. Someone did say they didn't think you were horrible.

There was confusion in my mind about which mooring was being charged for, hence my earlier question. As that questioned wasn't answered by the poster who confused me, perhaps you can clarify the situation.

A huge big welcome from me as well BerneyA.    Mooring charges always seem to bring our the worst in folk in my opinion,    at one time it was poor old Stracey Arms that was in the tutty and for no reason.    Tony the previous owner of The Stracey Arms was a really up front good guy and the lady who has taken over is equally so.      You are lovely guys and a welcome sight.    Well done for what you are doing.

Good morning all. Let's tackle the points one by one.  Moorings. Last week a private boat moored up and when we politely mentioned 1st hour free we were told to F off   The chap then called the broads authority who told him he was in the wrong and on our land, this happens every day and is ONLY private boats who do it...  we have a list of who has been rude or aggressive towards us .... so ... we are only charging on our land ... why are people posting on this site that we are charging for free moorings , do you really think we would do this , really !!!!    Look foreword to your response before we start on the next point which will be how horrible and hard to deal with we are....!  Kindest regards from the Berney .  P S. have the members who slagged us of been here ...

Thank you for that clarification, BerneyA. It seems to me that some may have jumped to unwarranted conclusions.

Hi BerneyA, Perhaps to clear up any confusion you could let us all know what the charges are for mooring on your moorings, and which section those charges relate too?

You ask how many of the members have been to see you?, perhaps it would help business if you could explain what you have on offer, opening hours, etc.
