The closest I got was taking this pic - wish I'd checked it out.

What's a broom 97 Gunslinger?  Is it like a Nimbus 2000?

We went there early last season for Breakfast, and it was fantastic - Prompt, polite, plenty of food and good value.

A couple of trips later in the season for lunch/dinner have failed to impress though.

i went here last year a few times.

Enjoyed the change as i was use to the darkness of the redhouse so it was nice to see something had been done to it.

It was busy but we didnt really have anything to eat so i cant say much about the food.

The people in there were friendly though.

Busyest ive ever seen that pub in a few years.

Being fairly close bertholders and visitors called in throughout last year and there were consistently good reports. Breakfasts especially seem to be good. I guess there are going to be the odd days and I would urge private owners to support the new tennants out of season. Pubs like this do not really get much passing trade so the cash flow at this time of year must be a bit of a worry.

Am I old, lets just say when I was young you didn't swim round moored boats because you knew what came out of the bottom of them Bill...
