Shut I am afraid - whether it will reopen as a restaurant again seems unlikely.

Well thought out, only 3 parking spaces and I guess those will be for staff.

According to the Planning Statement, those three parking spaces will be for disabled drivers. The lack of any other customer parking provision is explained by the comment ”There is ample public parking both in Wroxham and Hoveton.”

I always thought that Roy's various car parks were private property. There is a sign at the entrance to the precinct car park that reads ”If you intend shopping at Roys, please use their car park!” (yes, it does include that exclamation mark), so the new restaurant customers will hardly be welcomed there, and isn't the Faircraft Loynes Pay-and-Display Car Park a private car park, as well.

There are a few short-stay on-road parking spaces in Church Road, but I can't actually think of any 'ample public parking', as is claimed.

I think the actual application is wrong, though. It says there will be 7 car parking spaces retained, and an additional 3 disabled persons' parking spaces provided. That ain't what the plans and the planning statement say.

"..for the avoidance of any doubt, the broads are not legally a national park and do not come under the national park legislation, and nor will they."
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for DEFRA (Hansard 2015)

I was discounting the Disabled parking because the majority of people can't use those.
