I was in there on New Years Day and was told that the new landlord was taking over on the 10th of this month.

This is one of our favourite places. I was just wondering if anyone's been in since the change in management? Cheers!

Yeah.. About 3-4 weeks ago. The new management seemed quite friendly and eager to please. The food was reasonable and they now seem to be in on the 2 for £6 offer like at The Ferry in Horning, I'm not sure which days it applies but it didn't the day we were there.

Just spent a pleasant saturday evening, first time since the ownership change.Difficult to see much difference, still friendly , food good value, if basic, 2 eat for £8.

Does anyone know if the Malsters are dog friendly? Do they allow dogs?

Thanks Rich or Lisa, Plans may have changed now though, just had a call from the out laws who live in Doncaster to say that they are stopping at the caravan site in Ludham this weekend, so not sure where we'll end up now.

Always liked The Malsters...good beer and a warm welcome. Food was pretty standard but ok. Wonder what the new guy's gonna do with the place. Hope he makes the hanging baskets as superb as the last dude!
