Establishments that offer "All Day Breakfasts" but then don't open until 12 midday.

Couldn't agree more. It's bad enough when Breakfast isn't served until 8am. As a habitual early riser I like mine at 7 or earlier!

It's not so good if you set off at 6 and tell everyone you know a great place for breakfast, arrive at 8:30 to find it doesn't open till 12 lol

Yes it gets stuck in my craw as well - All Day Breakfast means they should be serving Breakfast all day.   I have been reliably informed that it doesnt mean that at all , it just means when establishments are open for meals, then you can purchase something which is commonly known as an All Day Breakfast.     Why they even bother to put out the sign I do not know, because if you were intending on eating and asked can I possible have bacon egg etc whatever is your poison then you would be told yes or no.

They don't put out a huge banner saying Steak and Chips or Fish and Chips or whatever, just We Served All Day Breakfast.

Durrh!!!  Talk about Lost in Translation.

Women dont nag they just point
things out...

Mine is being moored next to a boat that's cooking Bacon and you have none onboard! Playful

Iain.

Hamburgers...
When in fact they are really beef burgers.
Well assuming the Horse meat scandal has blown over now.

Early morning full english Breakfasts...
Sutton Staithe hotel... certainly available at 8:00 am, maybe sooner.
Excellent value for money.

best regards, Richard.
I can't wait to be back on our boat on
the Broads.

My number one pet hate - here is a fine example from June.

Take the boat over and all appears dandy.

Set out from boatyard - in this case cruise to Le Boat in Horning from Stalham.  Check watch and see taken about 3 1/2 hours.  Leave engine running for a further hour to hour 1/2 to take into account the previous hirers may not have done much running regarding batteries.

Head off for drinks and meal, coime back late and go to bed - wake up for drink in early hours - fridge red light is on = not enough battery power.

Substitute fridge for heating gong off for same = annoyed me.

But sometimes everything is fine, very much luck of the draw it seems.
