Thanks to all the pubs that let our dog in during our stay - here are some comments
Chedgrave the White Horse - lovely last night meal - was a slight issue with one meal which they very swiftly and politely sorted for us so highly recommend
Surlingham Ferry great food attentive staff top marks
Ram at Brundall - very friendly staff ( not on river front about 10 walk from free moorings )
Reedcutters - lovely meal on sunday evening free mooring overnight - dont let the sugar factory put you off going in !
Lady of lake Oulton - basic bar inside but very friendly and welcoming -restaurant looked neat and clean
Beauchamp Arms - didnt eat but welcomed dog and gave him some treats!!
Woods End - very friendly and good food dont let spome of the recent comments put you off - worth going in

My wife went for a 'girlie's' night out at the Waveney at Oulton Broad the other night, apparently it was dire! Might have been a one off but she didn't expect a  'rare' steak to be burnt around the edges, nor the deserts to be just be slop. Mind you, she didn't expect a pulse in her steak either. In fairness the party did have, with no argument, 10% lopped off quite a sizable bill.

On Sunday we went to the Broadland Holiday Village, all round excellence. One place that I can highly recommend.

Jenny Morgan,
A vane, a boat, but not a bird.

The Broads is NOT a National Park.

They wouldnt let the dog into the waveney - they did in the lady of the lake - we moored for the day /night outside the Wherry - £10 !!!!! But you geta fiver off a meal so made up for it and made it cheaper than some of the other oulton moorings!
