Hi all to Forum Members. I've just had a week on the Norfolk Broads now back home sob sob. I would just like to say a thank you to Phil And Vanessa for the very nice Sunday Lunch as for the New revamp Moorings that have just been completed that is spot on as this Pub now deserves a five Star rating. Phil and Vanessa deserves praises for working tirelessly as to keeping the Pub in ship shape over the last few years now. Andrew

An excellent lunch on Saturday. Arrived just after 1.15 and only one mooring space left for Water Rail. Both agreed food was excellent. Rather unfair/selfish a hire boat was moored up eating their lunch of 'bread and cheese' on their boat. Maybe they had a drink before lunch............but preventing someone who wanted to eat in the pub! We came close to missing a mooring and knew we would have had to pay £3.50 to moor on the other side of the bridge to eat at the pub otherwise Liz

First time on the broads this week and tried many pubs along the way. Moorings at the Bridge Inn were full on our way out to Yarmouth but my son in-law managed to shoehorn us in very professionally on the way back. Had a lovely meal on Weds night accompanied by more than a few beers. I thought I might lose my wife in the water after all the wine she drank.....never mind, there's always next year!

What time do they stop serving food on a night? We are planning to cross Breydon at tea time one of the days, but think we may be pushing it to reach The Bridge before 9.00

It seems that you can book tables there but not moorings. It's in the plan(Ha Ha) for us to dine there on 2nd July, but I don't expect to get to Acle Bridge until 6:30, then hunt for overnight moorings. There should be some space left on the other side of the bridge I guess, on a Friday night.

Decided to give it a go for a meal on sat after the racing. Excellent friendly service but the food while large in portion was at best very average. When asked for our comments the best we could manage after a long pause for thought was "Well it filled us up"
