Thought I would add my sixpence worth.  As I have said elsewhere recently on this forum, I think The Bridge Inn is my favourite of the hostelries that I have frequented, never a dud meal.
Hope to be there again towards the end of March. Smile  Strange thing about The Bridge Inn is that it is ten minutes or so by car from we are moored or roughly four and a half hours by
cruiser.

I don't want to make anyone feel jealous, but it is ten minutes or so by car from where I live. Yum, yum, indeed!  Cheers

I agree with everything that's been said.
I live 170 miles away (approximately) but have visited The Bridge 3 times in the last 2 years & despite them being very busy, service, quality & value could only be described as first class.
Although we aren't on a boat this year, we will endeavour to visit on our way down to Brundall (even though it will mean a detour.
I was also very impressed last year, in the way a potential unpleasant situation was handled by the staff. We were eating outside, close to 3 young men who had apparently consumed a fair measure of falling down water & were steadily becoming antisocial when, who, I presume was the manager (young man in a suit) came & quietly removed them from the grounds with a minimum of fuss & to the relief of other diners in the vicinity.

top pub is the bridge, non finer on the broads. where it is especially successful is that it seems to have found a happy balance between serving diners and drinkers, something so many pubs fail to do.

Called in Sunday on the way home for a Sunday roast,  we were still in pain Sunday night. Its just not right that a meal should taste that good that you clear a well proportioned plate of food causing you to eat more than you should. Phil, and your staff keep up the good work, we will be back.

ZtD, I don't really want to add to your pain, but the 'Sunday' roast is now available 7 days a week!

JLC67, worry ye not. It's gonna be worth it.
