Topic: WANTED: Dry Storage for 17ft Boat for 3 Weeks

gregafloat    -- Jan-25-2012 @ 12:20 PM
A contact of mine in Cornwall is negotiating the purchase of a boat currently ashore at Aylsham. He says:

"I may buy this for someone down here.  Do you know of anywhere it could be stored for up to 3 weeks?  I'm trying to find out if the trailer could be made roadworthy .... The plan would be to drive to Norfolk with bearings and wheels etc then sort the trailer and tow it back."

Has anyone space available for this very short term storage, ideally, close to Aylsham, or ideas about who he might approach where it could be left if further parts or work is needed.

You could also try Jason at the Ludham Bridge Boat Yard.
He has a storage unit at Hoverton rear of Jeckles Sail maker.
PM me if you want his telephone number.

There is also a place in Beccles that stores boats
loaded by forklift. I think also you can get it shrink
wrapped, good for towing on a trailer.
