Just trying to get the average current price for a lift out and return, and to see how that compares with a pull out/in ( as in slipway ). Both options then also requiring the boat to be chocked up.
If any of you have had this done in 2018/19 or have been quoted for winter 19/20 it would be useful if you could add the details here such as price per foot charges( if applicable) or flat rates for lifts. In fact however it is charges. If you don't want to name the actual yard then I understand but I would appreciate any info on prices as comparables, particularly as it seems to be charges in different ways.
Similar question re boat "storage" whilst the work is being done - have you been charged at all? (seems cheeky to me if it's for the period whilst work is being undertaken and you are at the boatyards mercy as it were!) and if so, how much. Different matter if you choose to sit the boat out for the winter period, though if it's at your own moorings then I would be interested to know if you are charged extra for the land space, bearing in mind you've paid for the year at the mooring anyway.
I think this may be handy reading and reference for many of us.
Thanks in advance.

Those prices don't look as bad as some! I have always been horrified at the cost of a lift out on The Broads. I used to be able to go into a dry dock back here on the Calder & Hebble for £50!

Can't remember prices now but Johnsons at st.olaves are very well priced, I've used him a few times now, always does things when he says, it was cheaper for me to get lift in/out/chock/wash and have a month storage fee than to use my own yard where storage is already covered by the mooring fee.
