Slack water, low tide - yes. Slack water, high tide -no.

You're welcome.

For anyone else wondering whether or not they can get through those bridges, it's the old railway bridge (Vauxhall Bridge) that has the least clearance. The heights of all the Broads bridges can be found here http://www.broads-authority.gov.uk/boating/navigating-the-broads/bridge-heights-and-opening-times

The heights are given at Average High Water during the summer. At Great Yarmouth, the tidal range can be anything from 5 feet to 11 feet, depending on wind and weather.

If there is any doubt whatsoever, ring the Yacht Station on 01493 842794, before setting out.

Edited to correct phone number.

Paladine, that number is the Norwich Yacht Station.  No doubt they will also be able to give the correct info, and at risk of being pedantic but for sake of good order/clarity for those who want to discuss a specific  Yarmouth Yacht Station matter the nbr  is 01493 842794

Did I dream it, or did someone say on here a while back that Haven Bridge or Breydon Bridge will help you outside Yacht Station hours with current bridge clearances????

  2.65 metres? That's basically a bungalow, right?

A bungalow is usually something with nothing upstairs

That may be but she is a good looking bungalow. Wink

Definitely! I'd rather have the boat than a bungalow to be honest - and that's from a sailor!
