Only 5 days to go now till we are on the broads. Having trolled through all the advice on the forum I feel well equipped for our forthcoming holiday, does anybody have any last minute advice. We are taking our dog and was wondering where the dog friendly pubs are. Have also got our logo ready. Only 1 night of work left then looking forward to our first trip to the broads.

Hi I don't wish to put the damper on your holiday but I've notice you have got a Dog I hope you have got all the Information on where the Vets are in case your Dog is not well as for us humans don't forget to take your NHS Card if any of you have a miss fortune.   You didnt say what kind of dog you've got.  We've taken most of our dogs on the boats over the years (mainly Rough Collies and a Golden Retriever), they have all hated walking on the decks and found them slippery, some even freaked at the sound of the engine but most of them enjoyed the experience and loved getting off to explore new places.  It's been quite a number of years since we took our dog ... mainly due to having a brood of kids who are harder to keep on a tight lead .... so I am not up-to-date with the dog friendly pubs, but if the weather is like it has been, it's great to sit outside with your dog and watch the world go by.

Hope you and your furry friend have lots of fun!
