Excellent meal great atmosphere.

What great hospitality, and great service at the Kings Arms. Even though they were a member of staff down, this was not reflected in the quality of the food or service. We made an evening of it as we didn't feel rushed. We ate in the family area of the restaurant, and Ian was giving out colouring books to the youngsters at the next table. What a lovely friendly atmosphere. My wife chatted to a few of the diners, they must have thought we were doing a survey for Egon Ronay, they too were also very pleased with the quality of the food and the service. Later on, Lesley, Ian's wife, took time from the busy kitchen, to spend some time to talk to us. It was a great evening with great food and great hospitality from all the staff. Yes we will certainly be going there again. Don't take my word for it, give it a try.

Mooring Description :
We moored at the free BA moorings at West Sommerton and arranged the day before with Ian at the Kings Arms, for a lift. He arrived on the dot at 6:00 pm at the staithe. He later drove us back on that evening when we were ready. So for this facility I give the mooring a 10 out of 10 PS Take a torch.
Food Description :
When we rang, The day before I said I fancied a steak, he said this wasn't on the menu for that night, but he said he would get some in. Having seen the menu, I needn't have worried, as there was plenty to choose from, but I still fancied the steak. This was cooked exactly to my liking a brilliant meal.

Most fun and welcoming pub on the Broads!

This is an excellent pub! Very local and boater friendly for any group lg or small, young, old or canine! Deff the most fun we've had on the Broads! Ian and Lesley are the most welcoming landlords and will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your time there! We had a group of 4 plus dog they picked up and delivered at Potter Bridge during our boat holiday after we called them, about a 5 min drive! Had a lovely time with very friendly locals, excellent food! Great selection of alcohol, ales, cider and shots at good prices :) Had an amazing night singing until very late as Ian put karaoke on for us and the fun locals we met! Was a great night and can't wait to go back! Nice atmosphere, clean, very friendly, lots of cool things in there, right across from the duck pond! Smoking area on patio, lovely dining room, lounge, bar, and karaoke on request! Really can't beat it or the landlords! Excellent staff, great service! TY for the best Broads night ever! xx
