A worthwhile Pub |
Stopped a couple of times over BH weekend. Decent wherry, plus a couple of other real ales on offer, prices very reasonable. Only one barman on, so service a bit slow. |

Good location |
My type of village pub. The landlord was out and helped us to moor up although it was very quiet on a Thursday in early May. Very pleasant place to moor with dog walks. |

Standard pub grub with friendly service. I had steak and chips at a very reasonable price.

Cracking carvery! |
Very pleasant pub where there is a genuine welcome and good service. Lovely to sit out and world watch although it does catch a breeze or three! |
Mooring
Description : |
As Norfolk nog says, limited moorings although folk sometimes seem to miss those 100 yards topside of the pub.

Food Description

We have eaten here a few times now and, for the last couple of years, have been very pleased we did. The sunday carvery is particularly good with a good choice of roasts and a very large selection of veg including lovely well roasted parsnips! £6.95 may be topside for a carvery but this one is worth it. Good selection of deserts including my favourite bread & butter pud with custard!

A honest Broads Pub |
People May be put off by the Damp odor in the air as you enter the building; don't be pub off by this. The welcome you receive at this pub is brilliant. Even from us arriving the staff helped us moor up. The bar staff were faultless. A lovely Typical Broads Pub. It was a shame the kids play area was overgrown so the kids could not play. |

A very pleasant stop |
Moorings at this pub are limited and can be hampered by the irregular layout of the quay heading. Best to get in early! Pool room. Woodforde's Wherry was on offer and found to be on good form. Plenty of outside seating with good views of the river. Well worth a visit. |
