Easily found from the Quay. Welcoming, attentive staff. Linda says the Ladies were a delight to visit ! 4 real ales on tap - however, the Broadside smelled rather sickly. Other ales were top notch. Does close at 3:00pm

Mooring Description :
When we arrived, one side of the Quay was well underwater due to very high tides. Only 5 feet headroom under the old bridge. Helpful staff in the visitor centre. Public toilets and pay showers open and clean.
Food Description :
Service and food was of a high pub standard. Alex said it was the best lasagna he has had for a long while. The sweets were full of calories and very well presented.

What a Splendid Pub

Having not been in here for years it seemed a good idea to pop in. What a super pub. Good range of real ales on sale including beers from the smaller breweries. This is much to be commended. Beer quality was impressive as you would expect in a Good Beer Guide listed pub. Noticed that the Adnams is delivered in 18 gallon casks which indicates a healthy turnover. Service was friendly and efficient. The pub also boasts a super outdoor drinking area at the rear. Very ornate with even a mirror! Lovely spot to sit out while enjoying a beer. This must rank as one of the best pubs on the Broads.

Mooring Description :
Moor at the yacht station or swimmimg pool.
Food Description :
Not sampled at this visit although the pub appears to have a very good reputation for its food.
