Food at the pub was excellent and well presented
and the staff were very attentative.
Not cheap but very good and the fact that they
were busy early in the evening says it all. |
Mooring
Description : |
Good moorings on the green and road noise is'nt
a problem.
Tides need checking as you may have to wait some
time to get back out!
The height gauge on the bridge was'nt visible
below 6' 6" due to green algea.

We had Brewers Chicken which is basicly chicken
in a special barbecue sauce and both the salad
and chips were presented in their own bowls.
It was delicious! Well recomended.

A very fine pub with excellent and varied menus |
Really like this pub. If the tide is right to moor just outside is a highlight of any break. Beer selection is always interesting and some outstanding specials from the board. |
Mooring
Description : |
If the tide is right superb moorings a step from the patio area. If not moor at commanders cut, then a short walk over the footbridge then turn left. Thorpe Green has four pubs.

This is a large chain pub, but with lots of little nooks and crannies and a pleasant atmosphere. Beers are OK, if nothing spectacular. |
Mooring
Description : |
Good moorings on the green if you can get under the low briges, if not, moor at commisionner's cut and walk up the the road and along the pavement. (1/3 mile)

Not the cheapest on the broads, but a nice varied menu, nicely presented, large portions and decicious.
Plenty of good waiting staff giving speedy and polite service - a really highly recommended meal out.
