Romany1 is a large spacious cruiser and has recently refurbished soft furnishings in a relaxing blue colour. the beds are of a good size and comfortable, although the forward double is rather tapered to the bow. good sized bathroom heads, with full sized bath, second ensuite to double is small but functional. downside is that the third cabin has no night toilet access other than via an occupied cabin. good sized galley with washing machine that works well, but has a rather slow spin, leaving clothes still dripping wet. we didnt bother using the dishwaher. larger than average fridge, all cooking and kettle is via a generator, which can be quite noisey. good driving position, but no windscreen wiper, which was a pain when wet. also the canopy was a poor fit, having been hit and repaired several times and now letting in water during wet weather, with the security anchorage cords missing to the rear panel. brinks were informed, and a tempory repair was made, but more major works were obviosly needed, which may include replacement of the cracked canopy. we were the first to take romany out on her maiden voyage back in 1994, so our trip this year was rather nostalgic, we had a lovely holiday, but sad to see the signs of wear and the knocks of time on this fine boat.
