We have hired this craft on a few occasions and have found her to be a very comfortable and easy to handle boat. She is showing signs of wear and tear but has been on the water a while and gets a bit of stick here and there. The only slight issue we had was engine noise but this wasnt a major issue. All in all a very nice cruiser.

hi, we hired brink of joy last easter, 2005, and found her to be a nice clean comfortable boat.the lounge area has recently been re-upholsterd and a new matress fitted to the double birth. the heads are of a good size, with a sitz bath as well as a shower which is of the conventional floor draining type. the rear single is only large enough for a child under 10, and is much under deck, both at the side and foot end. the lounge berth was long , but had no visible way of being convertable to a double. the galley was definately showing signs of wear, but was in a clean condition. the driving position was elevated, and gave a good view not normally found on this type of cruiser. the sliding canopys were never opened by us, but had some worrying looking cracks in their casings, and the security bolts could not be fastened on one side. some of the door handles were loose, the rear entry handle fell off on our last day, and the bilge pump seemed to be doing overtime when moored. verdict; a comfortable boat for a maximum of three people, some draughts from gaps in the insecure canopy, handled well, but in general showing signs of age and need for major refurbishment.
