even though she is just over 10 years old (she doesn't look it) i agree with all these, tho i found nothing wrong with cooker ignition, and im sure you don't want to spend too long in the galley, as big as it is. so that makes it 11 out of 10 from me. we spent 2 fantastic weeks aboard, july 30 to aug 13 2011, exceptional boat, the easiest i've ever driven (40 odd). my 1st with bowthruster just brilliant. quietest, rear engine makes such a difference. most spacious, only 2 doubles in 40' of boat, it's almost a long walk from one end to the other. cleanest. most comfortable, felt right at home as soon as we stepped aboard, slept like a log too. and amaizingly no leaks, another first. it's not the most 'blingest' boat but equally it's not the dearest either, hire silver sirocco, you wont regret it, a proper broads boat!! in fact it's that good, their building another one! inky. ian sue haydon and callum

Trambo and Riverlover have said it all. We had Silver Solano for 2 weeks in July 2011, just fabulous, there are no more superlatives I can use that have not been said already. Just go and hire it

Exceptionally comfortable. spacious and well equipped boats. Both cabins en-suite with plenty of storage and wardrobe space. Saloon has excellent visibility from viewing and helmsman's seat but is quite acceptable from saloon settee. Galley is the best equipped I have experienced on any inland waterway hire craft and all china is to matching design from plates to the cream jug. For coffee lovers a cafeteria is provided. Only fault was the four burner hob which is small and perhaps would have been more practical if it had been a three burner as space on it is very limited. Also you will still need matches as the hob ignition is rather temperamental. Deck gear is all neatly stored and lines are a good length. The rear engine makes for quiet cruising and there are no daily checks at all (except checking the gauges), the water inlet being self cleaning She will not pass under Potter Heigham and Silverline insist you use the pilot at Wroxham but their is no charge for this. Overall an exceptional four berth craft that is presented shining inside and out with so many little touches to detail you will keep on discovering. Also a yard that is efficient and very friendly at the same time, a balancing act that is hard to achieve but Silverline does.

I’ve hired this class a couple of times. All fixtures and fittings are immaculate. Excellent space for 4 in two separate cabins fore and aft. Good size galley with ample worktop space, with microwave fridge and cooker built in. Good size beds for 6' plus people. Good size shower rooms with blown heating vents. Power roof, so as the weather changes it can easily be adjusted by the driver whilst underway. The engine in the stern keeps noise at a minimum, creating a very relaxing cockpit/saloon. Bow thrusters make manoeuvring and mooring easy. Forward facing observation seat at same height as driver is ingenious idea. Makes good relaxing cruising as others can sit facing forward getting the same view as the driver. The seat back tilts forward out of the way when dining. We thoroughly recommend this class for two couples.
