We hired this boat from Richardsons and found it perfect for our needs there being 5 of us plus 1 dog. The sleeping berths were all of an adequate size although there is a large drop from the forward double berth. there are 2 toilets and 1 shower room which also has a wash basin. The seating area in the rear of the boat was large enough for us but if the full compliment of people were to be on board - which is around 8 - this could get quite tight. There is a fold up table which then does make the area smaller. The galley area is adequate with a reasonable size fridge and gas cooker. There is not a lot of cupboard space underneath for food etc but this can be lived with. At the rear of the boat there is slightly more room to sit than can be seen on the plan. The cockpit area is quite large with enough seating for 4 people plus whomever is driving the boat. All in all we found the Monarch to be a reliable boat.
