I used this boat in October 2011 with a group of friends from work (my boat is far too small to accommodate a crowd!). It has recently had a new, or reconditioned engine and that was really evident as the noise levels were very minimal indeed. There were five of us, all adults, but we managed with the space ok, the kitchen was much more user friendly than the boat we had the year before Bahama Major, also from Richardsons, and also a tub boat, and the whole thing seemed fresher having had a refurbishment. We will be booking this boat again this year for our weekend trip for sure.

Our first experience of a boat of any kind, so nothing else to compare it to. The boat had clearly been refurbished and suited very well. Was just two of us (my father & I) on board and therefore a room each. The fridge & cooking facilities were very good and the cupboards were surprisingly well stocked (cutlery, crockery etc.) plenty of room for two, but might be a different story with 5! The rooms were adequate, and despite my initial fears about the bed (seemed over-firm to me) had no problem sleeping every night - I think the lovely Norfolk air had a part to play in that! Bed size could be a problem - i'm nearer 5ft than 6 lol so not a problem for me. Double bed would seem more like 3/4 size to me. Next year we are 5 - so the larger sister ship Fine Gem - 44ft compared to 37ft is booked. 37ft proved no problem at all to steer/sail - and indeed turn around. I'd hire it again. Might not look as pretty as some of the boats on the water, but comfortable enough.
