We have just spent a week on Diamond Emblem and have to say it is a very impressive boat. The living and sleeping space is very generous, including 3 double cabins and a separate twin cabin. The double beds are some of the largest we have stayed in on hire boats and comfortable. The back cabin has its own shower/toilet room. We used this for everyone as was a very good size to move about in. The shower also was very good and held its temperature well, even when four adults had showers. The other two doubles shared a toilet/shower room. The galley is long with reasonable work top areas and the oven and hob easy to use. The main cabin has a large wrap around seating area with TV, which worked very well with the free sat system. Being on one level throughout was also very nice, especially with two young children, head room was also very good. We didn't use the downstairs steering position, but visibility was good. The top deck is large and can seat many people. Steering is reasonable although you do get a bit of wind-age, bow thrusters make for easy mooring etc. A few negatives: There was not a great deal of storage space on the boat, only built into the roof. Good for housing bags, but not really for clothes etc. There were a few draws but not many. Seats in the front were not the most comfortable due to position of high back rail. Galley was a bit tight if two people wanted to pass. Really splitting hairs on the negatives as the boat was very good and really did make for a nice break. We would have again. Ferry Marina were also great to deal with, very nice people, efficient and helpful throughout pre booking, booking, holiday and return.
