Hired Silver Emblem 2 for one week in june 2009. She is a brilliantly thought out cruiser with space and comfort in mind! The interior is fitted to that of a private standard with the best materials used throughout. The seperate shower and toilet are brilliant, both of which are very spacious. The kitchen in the bow is a great idea with plently of work top space and of course the great view. The internal helm position offers plently of vision through the panoramic windows and i didnt feel there was much obstruction. On the other hand the flybridge helm is fantastic. No screens to obstruct the view and the boat is one of the easiest to drive with responsive steering, plenty of power for tides etc and a good bow thruster for manoevering in and out of moorings. I think that it is a striking design and a very good looking boat. As with all new designs it takes a while to appreciate something new and thats why this boat was great as it is totally unique and stands out from the alpha highliners giving you more space and a better quality finish. For a new yard Ferry Marina seemed to have things running very smoothly already and offered a high quality service.

Hired Silver Emblem 1 for four days in June/July 2009 and had some great weather! The boat is very comfortable, a good layout and the forward saloon/galley is very spacious and nicely fitted with a luxurious feel. The external helm was superb to enjoy the great weather & the boat handled well, the bow thrusters making things very easy too. The vision from the internal helm is less brilliant due to a number of windows being used forward, so the angles and bits between the windows get in the way a bit, especially as you do not really have one window directly ahead that you can see like you would normally. The exterior is a bit unusual. I warmed slightly to the side view from the rear but could not warm to the front view, especially full on which to me just looks unattractive. Suprised that less windows, or a more attractive/modern solution could not be used really. In summary, a comfortable boat if you can live with or find the exterior appealing. All staff at the boatyard were friendly, helpful and nice to deal with and the boat was well presented and immaculate inside on takeover.
